Available in both fabric and leather, the Versailles chair is a classic French Bergère chair, with enclosed fabric or leather seat, sides and back with exposed wood legs and arms. The style first appeared in the reign of Louis XV, moving into Louis XVI. The style is generally called Rococo, for its whimsical carved wooden themes and asymmetry.
