The Thorsen House was built in 1909 in Berkeley, California for William Randolph Thorsen and his wife Caroline Canfield Thorsen. This design is inspired by the designs of brothers Greene and Greene, whose new architectural style fused Arts & Crafts elements and those of Japanese imperial design.
