The Blacker arm chair is based an interior furniture design for the Blacker House in the Oak Knoll neighborhood of Pasadena, California. Built in 1907, the Blacker House is perhaps the finest example of a Craftsman homes in the United States. The inspirations were many - William Morris, Gustav Stickley, Elbert Hubbard, Imperial Japanese design, and the Greene brothers own unique insight.
