an Arts & Crafts Style inspired by brothers Greene and Greene
Brothers Charles and Henry Greene were born in Brighton, Ohio. At the turn of the 20th century, they moved to Pasadena, California to design homes and interiors. Homes, like the Thorsen and Blacker houses in Berkley and Pasadena, were at the time described as "ultimate bungalows," and today considered symbols of the renaissance of the American Arts and Crafts Movement.
