Mission and More ...
Mission style had other designers. Harvey Ellis had a thing or two to say. Charles Limbert called his designs Arts & Crafts and never Mission. And Elbert Hubbard founded the Roycroft Community in East Aurora, New York in 1895. Hubbard designed the tall and stately grandfather clock that still stands in the Grove Park Inn in North Carolina. With an eye on the past and the future, Stickley continues to update the Mission style with new collections like Highlands and Park Slope.
