In 1984, we returned to Kansas and began a small furniture store featuring an exclusive line of Amish furniture. These were antique reproductions made by Amish and Mennonite craftsmen and women from Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Tom Seely, a World War II veteran, had started the company when the supply of antiques became scarce.
It was a small start.
Since then we have expanded to carry the best in quality and price. Stickley, Century, Sherrill, Vanguard, Nichols & Stone, Hancock and Moore, and Gat Creek, which continued Tom Seely's traditions when he retired.
Shipping on small items by Fedex, UPS, or US postal service. Shipping is free in the continental US on most items. Shipping is 7 - 9 days on in-stock items, but times may vary. Larger furniture items from 2-Day Designs require additional shipping charges and shipping times.

Our personal story began in Wichita where a hometown Kansas girl and an Army brat met and married. We leftfor three wonderful years in Germany, to serve in the Army, then moved to Falls Church, Virginia for a spell, and, like Dorothy and Toto, came back home to Kansas.
Here in the College Hill neighborhood at the corner of Douglas and Hillside, surrounded by friends and family, we set up shop.
Because it is a great place to raise a family.
