Stickley MissionSince 1900, Stickley Furniture has been the premier name in American furniture design. This is because that is when Gustav Stickley created an experimental line he first called the New Furniture. This line eventually became known as Mission. Gustav Stickley's designs reflected his ideals of simplicity, honesty, and truth. Furniture was designed for comfort. Materials included quarter-sawn oak to demonstrate the beauty of the wood. The construction was mortise and tenon joinery, solid and long-lasting. Stickley Furniture is built for life, passed down from one generation to the next.
