American CraftsmanshipA life-long antique collector, Tom Seely saw value in the craftsmanship of Early American cabinetmakers, recognizing a love and integrity in their work. His designs were the foundation of Gat Creek. In 1996. Tom Seely's small furniture manufacturing company was purchased. It was purchased by the Caperton family with deep roots in West Virginia history. Located in West Virginia, Gat Creek carries on Tom's vision of beautiful antique reproductions built by American craftsman using solid wood and traditional techniques. Gat Creek and the Caperton family maitain strong values in craftsmanship, design, and a concern for the environment.
